Call For Nominations Of Youth Commissioners: Zimbabwe Independent Youth Commission (ZIYC)

The Zimbabwe Independent Youth Commission (ZIYC) is calling for nominations of twelve (12) Youth Commissioners to represent the Commission in different provinces across Zimbabwe. One Youth Commissioner will be selected per province and he or she must be: 18-35 years old and very passionate about youth issues; Non partisan and must not have any position in any political party; Familiar with youth issues in his or her province; Able to spare time from his or her schedule to attend to the business of the Commission; Understand human rights issues and the National Youth Policy in Zimbabwe; Male or female; Young women encouraged to participate.

Nominations will be done at provincial level and Commissioners will be nominated from their provinces and a selection committee will finally select finalists to serve as Youth Commissioners representing their provinces. Self-nominations are allowed from youths who are very passionate about serving the Commission and the interests of the young people in Zimbabwe.

Nominations must be sent with: CV of the Nominee; Two recommendation letters from any two youth organizations in Zimbabwe; Motivational letter from the nominee.
